The Current king of YouTube MrBeast is one of the most successful and well-known content creators of all time. He has over 124 million subscribers and billions of total views on his channel. His most viewed video is, “$456,000 Squid Game in Real Life!” with 327 million views. But it may not hold the crown for long as a YouTube short is on its way to surpassing it.

And the craziest thing about it is that this short is made by none other than MrBeast himself. According to a recent channel stat shared by YT Battles, it is apparent that a short made by MrBeast is giving some tough competition to the most viewed video on his main channel. Looking at it, the question arises, will MrBeast beat MrBeast? 

MrBeast’s most viewed video is about to get surpassed by a YouTube Short

Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast, is known for his larger-than-life videos and wacky challenges. But Jimmy had broken all the limits and boundaries when he recreated the mega-hit Netflix show, ‘Squid Game’ in one of his videos.

For a long time, this video remained the most-watched video on Jimmy’s channel. But recently YT Battles pointed out that, one of MrBeast’s shorts named, “Would You Fly To Paris For A Baguette?” has received 317 million views and is on its way to surpassing the Squid game video.

According to YT battles, the short may surpass the video in the next 2 days. “One of MrBeast’s recent Shorts is on track to pass his Squid Game video as the most viewed media on his channel within the next 2 days,” said the YouTube analytics channel on Twitter. 

Will it be the most watched video of MrBeast? 

Despite all its success, it is still a ‘short’ instead of a video. Both have different categories on the platform. This means, even if it manages to surpass the video’s views, it may not be counted as Jimmy’s most successful content. 

YT battles clarified on this matter, “In my opinion, it won’t count as a new most-viewed video since Shorts and Videos are separate categories with separate tabs haha”. So, unfortunately, even if the short manages to gain more views that the Squid Game video. It will still be counted as Jimmy’s most watched ‘short’, not his most watched ‘video’.
