Konami tried its best to keep the franchise alive. However, it has not had any significant releases since that could match the legacy of the original titles.

With Silent Hill 2 Remake, the devs will look to bring players back to the creepy town of Silent Hill once again. And given the critical acclamation that the original title received, it won’t be too preposterous to assume that the remake will make things scarier in the foggy town.
