However, alongside the latest cosmetics, Call of Duty developers are also trying to bring the old flavor from previous entries in the iconic saga. And Modern Warfare II is the perfect example of that. So far, it has received some iconic bundles revolving around past games. To add to them, there’s a brand new weapon skin rumored to appear in 2022’s hit title. It will be a rare addition if the devs actually end up rolling it out in the game.

The old Damascus Forge weapon skin from 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare is finally coming back!

Weapon camos have always fascinated the players in the celebrated franchise. Especially when it comes to the Multiplayer experience. When the rebooted Modern Warfare was first released three years ago, it also featured a rare weapon skin that eventually turned out to be something only a few users were able to unlock. This weapon camo was none other than the Damascus Forge. If one has to know about its relevance in 2019’s MW installment, it can be described as a ‘be-all and end-all’ skin for someone who likes to hunt a lot of camouflage-based camos. It featured an attractive metal pattern and became very popular among the Call of Duty fans.

With the initial launch of Modern Warfare II, however, Damascus Forge didn’t make a comeback. But now, those who are interested in having it in the ongoing installment need not worry anymore. Because this old and rare skin is rumored to make a grand return in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. At least that’s what a Reddit user revealed in a recent post.

Going by the leak, it seems like many Call of Duty players will now be able to have the amazing Damascus Forge skin. Why? Because it will reportedly arrive as part of a bundle for the in-game store. This means they won’t have to go through extreme challenges in order to unlock it.

However, that also means that the price for this cosmetic will be high as well. But it shouldn’t be a problem for those who are really curious to have it for the Multiplayer modes. Activision‘s latest game is now available across the globe. Players can enjoy it on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
