Call of Duty has witnessed numerous transitions since it was introduced to the world nearly two decades ago. With changing times, the series has also adapted to a variety of trends, such as making crossovers with renowned entities from pop culture and real-world personalities. Last year, the Modern Warfare II game had a historic collaboration with football stars like Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, and Neymar Jr. during the FIFA World Cup 2022 event in Qatar.

Well, now it looks like Call of Duty might soon begin collaborating with other gaming IPs too. The most exciting thing to notice is that Activision Blizzard liked this tweet. It’s a known fact that The Last of Us is currently trending a lot due to HBO Max’s blockbuster live-action TV series adaptation. That can be one of the reasons why the publisher reacted to the tweet. However, it maybe an indication that the company won’t mind having a crossover with the PlayStation IP at some point in the future.

Although it’s just a vague speculation, The Last of Us entering the universe of Call of Duty might be a massive event. After all, both these brands have got huge fanbases in millions. If they come together, the gaming enthusiasts will be elated with joy.
