Publisher 2K Sports and developers Visual Concepts are finally launching the much-awaited next iteration in the WWE series, WWE 2K22, under the 2K banner. Two years after the catastrophic release of 2K20 and a year after the cancelation of t0-be WWE 2K21, the ninth installment in the mainline franchise comes with high hopes of reviving the community’s appreciation and love for the series.
Many people might not know what the attires and gear of their favorite wrestlers in the upcoming game will look like. More specifically, there is some mysteriousness revolving around two icons in the wrestling world and what they will look like in the game. The icons in question are The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage.

WWE 2K22: do the legends receive changes in the latest edition?
The latest trailer of the upcoming title looks quite promising from the initial response as the developers hope to deliver greatness with the new game. Thankfully, the devs seemed to have learned from their previous mistake. And players can expect to experience an entirely redesigned gameplay engine, fresh gameplay, stunning graphics, and much more.

As for the legendary wrestlers, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior, both put on a fresh look in the infamous WWE 2K20. However, in the latest trailer, starring Complexity Gaming co-owner TimTheTatman, both legends can be seen in similar gears as their 2K20 variants. And such is the case with John Cena, Kane, and a few others who usually prefer their typical attires.

On the other hand, WWE 2K22 cover star Rey Mysterio debuts a new look in-game this march. While The Undertaker will come with “3 additional Undertaker personas” amongst other gifts as a part of the Undertaker Immortal Pack available for pre-order customers of the WWE 2K22 Standard Edition and WWE 2K22 Cross-Gen Digital Bundle.
With this said, all the information must be taken with a pinch of salt. As it is based on the first look via the trailer and could be subject to change if the developers have been holding back to preview the new gears.
