The England National team recently released an interview with their ace goalkeeper Pickford on their official YouTube channel. In the interview, the Everton FC goalkeeper answered many interesting questions, but one of the questions revealed his liking for Fortnite and video games.

The interviewer questioned what Pickford does during the “downtime” in the English camp. The soccer star replied, “I feel good about yourself to get a massage, whatever you need, spend some time with the lads, Fortnite. Yeah, still on the Fortnite vibe.” The 28-year-old also claimed to play some basketball during the downtime.
But the revelation led to the interviewer showing Pickford entering the England World Cup camp with a huge suitcase. So the 28-year-old revealed that the suitcase is his custom-built PC for gaming. Pickford shared he has a laptop but doesn’t like the small screens. So, he got this “next level” portable setup to enjoy gaming.

The interviewer claimed the English soccer star was not a console fan and so got upgraded to a powerful portable PC setup. Pickford replied, “I’m just trying to get the best frames in that and again get the upper hand.” The Everton FC goalkeeper is serious about his gaming as much as his soccer matches.
How is the English goalkeeper performing in the World Cup?
Pickford is having a great World Cup this year, as England has qualified for the Quarter Finals. They knocked out Senegal 3-0 in the Round of 16 to lock horns with the reigning champions France in the next round.

The English goalkeeper is performing exceptionally well, as he only conceded two goals so far in the grand tournament. And with a clean sheet in the last outing, his morale will definitely be high before facing off against the Cup holders.
