“All of the people who couldn’t make it pro in Valorant are gonna get pro in CS 2, that’s obvious. NA scene is going to bounce back a little bit. We will finally have some real competition here. And won’t be just team liquid play themselves. They have no one good to practice against. There literally like five to ten good Counter-Strike players in North America,” said Shroud, predicting the future of the CS pro scene.

What is new in CS 2?
The upcoming Counter-Strike 2 will be bringing a lot to the table. According to the new reveals, CS 2 will have a ‘dynamic smoke’ upgrade, which will improve the smoke and smoke bombs. The new smoke bombs create volumetric objects that not only interact with the surroundings but also adapt to different situations. Also HD overhauls of the classic maps.
The approach that the devs have taken regarding the map upgrades could be divided into three categories; Touchstone maps, Upgraded maps, and Overhauled maps. Every map will be visually upgraded while maintaining its classic touch. CS 2 is looking forward to making the game more attractive to the new generation of gamers.
