If there were two games in 2022 that dominated the gaming scene, they were God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring. While the PlayStation 5 exclusive became a highly acclaimed title, the FromSoftware fantasy RPG broke tons of records in nearly every category.
Despite the arrival of a new year in 2023, these two are still and will surely remain one of the most talked-about games for a long period of time, no matter what. It was recently seen during a podcast when God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring were mentioned once again. However, what was interesting about this podcast is that it featured none other than the famous actress herself who is known for playing the iconic Freya in God of War. When she was asked to choose one game between these two amazing AAA blockbusters, she surprisingly came up with praising words for Hidetaka Miyazaki’s open-world RPG.

Recently, she appeared on the popular What’s Up PlayStation podcast. It’s hosted by Persona and Jay Bari who talk to different personalities in their long running sessions. This time, they had none other than Danielle Bisutti, aka Freya, for their Episode number 111. The three of them had an extensive conversation on multiple topics including video games. And when it comes to this specific area, how could they not ask her anything regarding God of War?

The hosts are famous for playing an ‘Either Or’ game with their guests. So they had a similar situation for Danielle as well, where she had to answer three questions and choose one option out of the given two every single time. When they asked her to tell only one preference between God of War and Elden Ring, the actress had quite a shocking response. Although she chose Ragnarok over FromSoftware’s title, she then went on to praise 2022’s Game of the Year as an ardent gaming lover.
“I haven’t played it but from what I understand, is like the actual gameplay is so amazing. I mean that’s George R.R. Martin. I mean that’s, you know Game of Thrones, which is one of the greatest television creations from the greatest series of books novels of all time. So yeah, I’m like ‘wow it’s a thing of beauty'”, said Bisutti.
