For the uninitiated, there are two ways to actually access the MWIII Beta. Firstly, players can simply preorder the game digitally through the PlayStation and Xbox stores for consoles. For PC, interested players can use either Battle.net or Steam. Upon pre-ordering the upcoming title from digital stores, COD players won’t have to wait for a code to jump into the Beta. They can simply access it the moment it goes live.

However, those players who have pre-purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III via offline retail stores will need an actual code. To be precise, if they have made a pre-order through any participating retailer, they will have to get the code in order to be eligible for the Beta phase.
Players can find the Early Access Beta codes which is generally printed on the retail receipt. They can also receive it via email in the form of a digital receipt. In case they are not able to get it, they must contact their respective retailer. Upon obtaining it, they will need to redeem the 13-digit Beta code at callofduty.com/betaredeem.

Meanwhile, hardcore franchise lovers are curiously waiting for the Beta weekends to begin soon. The limited build of MWIII will unleash tons of surprises for the gamers to get hyped ahead of an official release.
Modern Warfare III’s Beta will offer an extended look at the new Multiplayer experience. It will give players access to some of the classic maps coming back from 2009’s MW2. These are the maps confirmed for the Beta phase: Favela, Estate, Skidrow, Rust, and Highrise.

Furthermore, the much-awaited Zombies mode will also make its presence felt during the Beta period. It will enable players to go against massive hordes of the undead while completing certain quests, and forming teams with others. The open-world mode will follow a PvE format.
