Currently, everyone claims that the Nintendo Switch is grossly underpowered. There’s no doubt about it either; the console is indeed underpowered. It plays most games at sub-1080p resolution, and most of them are always stuck at 30FPS. Some newer games, even the first-party ones, even go below that every now and then, which is not a good look for a flagship device.

And that is why, fans and gamers everywhere have been aching for a successor for a while now. Nintendo has released devices with minor upgrades, such as batteries and a better display, but they have ignored the demands for a real successor.

Many fans see this as a negative, but they forget the fact that this would be a handheld console, one as powerful as a PlayStation 4 is nothing to scoff about. This is a console that flawlessly ran generation-defining titles such as Ghost of Tsushima and Doom Eternal.

Imagine being able to play Doom Eternal and even The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at 1080p or even 2K at a locked 30 or 60 FPS. This would surely be a dream come true for many fans, and that console would be able to do that flawlessly.
