This is actually a latest update that already has made it into the Fortnite world. This item when thrown to the ground immediately becomes a bush. This is an excellent item for players to hide, especially in zero-build mode. Players can even throw it on a car to make it a moving bush-covered vehicle.

This item goes well with the Bush Warrior perk, and players will be able to increase their health when the two of these are in effect.

Update on Hired NPCs

It was a menace to control hired NPCs in the game. They get lost outside the storm and eventually die. And moreover, it was difficult to get them in a vehicle. NPCs would just run around following the car you are driving. Now, these hired NPCs will get into the car and ride along with the players.

The slap juice now affects the wildlife as well, but as this season already has quite a number of fast-paced things, this update went under the radar.

Upcoming and expected updates in the game

The Last of Us x Fortnite

This dream collaboration was teased back in July 2022. Now, as the Last of Us series is finally out on HBO Max, Fortnite may use this opportunity to introduce the popular franchise into the game. It sure will be exciting to play as Joel and Ellie, two of the most revered game characters from recent times.

Dead Space x Fortnite

This is also an expected collaboration that is coming into the metaverse. It was already rumored that Isaac Clarke is coming into the game as a playable avatar. Now, there are reports about a back bling that changes the HP bar according to the player’s remaining health points.

Yet another back bling is also present, which switches to a red color when taking damage.

Stranger Things might be back

The collaboration has already happened a few years back. But, now as the horizon of Stranger Things has broadened and its popularity has increased by several folds, Fortnite might bring back the popular franchise. It has been more than 1000 days since the Stranger Things skins came into the store, and fans can hope more come in the near future.

Where is Peter Griffin?

One of the most awaited and teased collaborations of Fortnite is with Family Guy. The skin was revealed during an Epic Games live stream where files of Darth Vader, Family Guy, and others were shown. All the other skins made their way into the game, except Family Guy.

Fans were starting to lose hope when a recent skin codenamed “FrenchFries” was in the game files. And this surely has ignited hope in fans about Peter Griffin’s arrival in Fortnite. It would be disheartening if it ends up not happening.

Bring back Travis Scott

The Travis Scott skins have not graced the stores for more than 1000 days now. But, some people are speculating that the skin may break into the store in the near future. Players can just hope that these rumors are true.

Kid Laroi Concert

This is the upcoming concert that Fortnite is bringing to its fans. People though have some concerns about this. Especially because he is an upcoming star and the past collaborations of Fortnite were with chart leaders like Ariana Grande and Travis Scott.

Also, people are confused if the event will live up to the hype or whether it would be an experience of the creative 2.0 mode of the game.

He is getting two skins in the game and a whole line of cosmetics set. And people even can win the skin for free by participating in Kid Laroi’s duo event.

#BlueOcean

This is one of the teases that Donald Mustard, the creative director of the game has been talking about. According to SypherPK ‘Blue Ocean’ is when a company ventures into something that is very unique and brand new. This venture opens up opportunities for a fresh market and is expected to get minimal to no competition from the other competing businesses.

It surely will be amazing to see Fortnite investing and bringing out something like this. Maybe he was referring to the future of Creative 2.0, but everything is under smoky clouds now.
