Chris Pine recently talked with Slash Film, about his role as Edgin Darvis in the movie. Talking about his preparation for the role, Pine quickly learned the rules of the game while playing with his family. He shared his experience of playing the game with family, saying, “Within 15 minutes, we were having the time of our lives, and we didn’t have to know anything.”

The element of roleplay and imaginative gameplay has given a nerdy reputation to the game. Pine believed people should stop this bias and try to enjoy this thought-provoking game. The movie star believed this game to be the best way to help children grow together as a group.

“I think is so important to know, why I think it should be played in schools is that it immediately teaches cooperation,” he explained.
