2022 has been a remarkable year for billionaire Elon Musk. The 56-year-old always makes the headlines, and buying Twitter out is one that topped the chart for him this year. He was interested in buying the social media giant since 2017. He had expressed his interest in the same on many occasions and was one of the biggest shareholders of Twitter. After much drama, Musk bought the platform for a whopping $44 Billion on October 27.
The drama surrounding him and his newly acquired social media platform didn’t fume out after that. The changes that the richest man in the world brought to Twitter faced criticism. Amid all these tensions, Musk added a pinch of salt to it by doing a Twitter poll. The poll was about whether he should step down from the role of CEO at Twitter. About 57.5 % of people responded against the billionaire. Musk’s tweet received tremendous responses and among them was Karl Jacobs, who told he would step in to fill the CEO position.

The poll Elon Musk conducted backfired on him. And now it is open to the public that the majority of the community wants Musk removed from the CEO position. As a reply to the poll result, Musk said he would step down from the position after he finds someone ‘foolish’ enough to take the position. To this statement, MrBeast’s closest confidant and Streamer Karl Jacobs responded. He told that he would fill in the shoes of the new Twitter CEO.
I’ll be the CEO, I was the Time’s 2006 Person of the year 👍🏼

He also jokingly stated that he was selected for TIME’s 2006 person of the year award. For clarification, the TIME’s 2006 person of the year award was not actually given to a single person. It was presented to each and every person out there in the world. This was a gesture to indicate the ever-rising Information Age.
