It has been months since fans have been enjoying Xbox-exclusive Starfield. Throughout this time, the excitement level only seems to have increased for the users. While viewers loved Bethesda’s approach of giving more freedom to the players in the gameplay, they are not at all pleased with the game’s one specific factor— Starfield’s Mantis armor.
While the armor became a huge hit when the game was released, this was because of its great efficiency and exclusivity in resistance. But the external design of the armor couldn’t get fans’ approval. Following a recent fan discussion on Tenebris Armor’s superiority, Mantis just lost its priority. Not only do fans think Tenebris Armor is great but they share an opposition reaction to Mantis’ overall look.

Starfield’s armors are really important as they help players with airborne contamination, oxygen deficiency, heat, and radiation. While these armors are really not to enhance the character’s appearance, players still seem to harbor issues in this context. Recently a Starfield player brought discussion on their Reddit profile, where they mentioned the Mantis Armor as the ugliest one.

Although he spoke about its great statistics and features, the overall look totally disappointed fans– “Yeah it has great stats and stuff, but everything about it aesthetically is just FUGLY!!!” Now, developers pay way too much attention to the game’s aesthetics to features.
Recently in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac brought over 50 Spider-Man suits with customizations. It sums up the fans’ expectations of big-budgeted titles. While Tenebris Armor is the star of the show among Starfield fans, the majority of the social media reveals fans’ dislike towards Mantis’ overall look!
Fans think Mantis Armor is the ugliest armor of Bethesda’s Starfield

After this Reddit post was published, it went viral as the majority of the fans supported their fellow user’s claim about Mantis armor being the ugliest in the game. One fan pointed out the visible unique look of the armor but was quick to highlight how the intent behind the design had not landed to be very pleasing, “I think they wanted it to be distinct, and bug-like. They accomplished that to some degree. It just didn’t come out very pleasing to the eye.”

Fans jokingly called it as ugly as the “dentist’s armor!” Few users commented how this “bug-like” statement represents Bethesda truly- “Tbf “bug-like” really defines Bethesda.” Starfield fans believed that Bethesda tried to amalgamate many concepts which made the Mantis armor horrible. They wanted a little of everything from a superhero look to stealth and more but clearly seemed to have landed in an unappreciated mix.

Spectators commented how they disapprove of the ugliness of the armor but accept how it looks different than the rest. In a nutshell, the majority of the Starfield fans seemed utterly disappointed with Mantis armor’s look. No matter how efficient it is, the style just killed all the impression.
