The Last of Us Season 1 has finally concluded, but fans are already looking forward to the already green-lit second season. But fans might have to wait for a while before seeing the second season, as the show’s star Bella Ramsey revealed an estimated release window for the show.
Bella Ramsey has become a fan favorite thanks to her outstanding portrayal of Ellie. She, along with Pedro Pascal, have majorly contributed to the success of this HBO adaption. But the show’s post-apocalyptic setting also piqued the audience’s interest. That world was entertaining to watch on TV, but no one would want to live in it. However, the 19-year-old actress just claimed that the events from the HBO series can happen in real life.

Bella Ramsey recently attended the renowned English talk show, The Jonathan Ross Show. She was interviewed on various topics relating to ‘The Last of Us’ by the English talk show host. He even requested that the young actress explain the plot of her post-apocalyptic show, which she did.

During Ramsey’s explanation, the English actress, comedian, and television presenter Mel Giedroyc abruptly interrupted, saying, “Zombies feast on people’s necks and rip them open.” Ramsey and Ross were both taken aback by what she said. Ross then requested Giedroyc not to discuss the show because she hadn’t seen it yet.
Ross then questions Bella about the authenticity of the Cordyceps virus in her series. “Cordyceps is real,” the English actress verified. But, she also warned that the horrifying apocalypse from her show could occur in real life.“Like this could be theoretically, it’s scientifically possible,” Ramsey continued.

Mel Giedroyc was horrified to learn that such an apocalypse could occur in the actual world. The 54-year-old begged Ross and Ramsey to stop talking about it. In terror, she even asks Bella if Cordyceps are mushrooms or not. Because these mushrooms are edible, as American podcaster Joe Rogan does.
Aside from discussing the presence of Cordyceps, the English talk show host also inquired about Bella’s relationship with Pedro Pascal. The 19-year-old actress claimed to have created an undying bond with the ‘The Last of Us’ co-star. Undoubtedly, it would be great to see the actors together again in Season 2.
