It seems like the dark fantasy atmosphere of this game will enhance the gameplay. The mini-dungeons are expected to be filled with interesting challenges and boss fights to up the ante for this game. This game is a definite buy for the Dark Souls fans out there!

Besides this, in an interview with the PlayStation, game director Hidetaka Miyazaki discussed the difficulty levels for Elden Ring. It has been a common perception that Miyazaki’s games would be extremely difficult and have notorious levels, as evidenced by the Souls games.

However, he hopes that this perception will change soon enough. He says, “We don’t try to force difficulty or make things hard for the sake of it. We want players to use their cunning, study the game, memorise what’s happening, and learn from their mistakes. We don’t want players to feel like the game is unfairly punishing, but rather that there’s a chance to win a difficult encounter and make progress.”
