Many fans were surely charmed to know whether swinging through skyscrapers will be possible in this upcoming game as well. And to put an end to the fans’ query, the trailer of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 brought some amazing Traversal mechanics, which one might have seen in the Spidey movies and old games.

But for Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, it is completely a new set of mechanisms, where our friendly neighborhood superhero performs some mind-blowing moves for traveling from place to place. And with this new set of traversal mechanics, playing this action-adventure game will be unbelievably fun!

New traversal mechanics in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Insomniac upgraded the traversal mechanism in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Not just that, critics believe that these new five mechanisms will give players an exact Spider-Man-like adventure in the game. Although these mechanisms were previously seen in many Spider-Man movies in the Insomniac franchise, these are completely new. The list of mechanisms starts with water skimming. If a player swings through the buildings and drops near a water body, then he can actually skim through the water without any web usage. This traversal mechanism is quite similar to another traversal mechanism, Sunset Overdrive. Sunset Overdrive can be seen in the older Spider-Man games by Insomniac.

From Kraven to Sinister Six, half of the Spider-Man universe’s gruesome villains will make their presence at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. And now with these new traversal mechanics, fans will surely have a blockbuster time with this game. 

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on the 20th of October. Since the pre-loading has begun, interested players can download and install their game to directly play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, when it releases after two days.
