Marvel’s Wolverine game is one of the most anticipated games right now. Questions have been looming regarding its size and the kind of content the game will have for a long time, and Game Director Brian Horton has decided to clear things out.

Horton recently responded to a tweet that asked whether the game is “big or Miles Morales size.” He replied to this query by stating that the game would be full-size game, along with a mature tone.

Wolverine game director finally opens up about the game’s content

To contextualize the above tweet, what is meant by “Miles Morales” size is the length of the narrative. Spiderman: Miles Morales was a short game, and if played casually, can be completed in a game-time of 23 hours. Many players can also complete it in as little as 8 hours.

This game was deemed extremely short for a full-priced AAA game and disappointed many fans. They have had similar concerns about Marvel’s upcoming games, which now seems a clear from the above tweet.

As of now, not much is known beyond this information, as Horton said he could not elaborate much at this stage.

Wolverine will release right after Spiderman 2, possibly in 2023.

Wolverine has evidently been a notably violent figure with a considerably darker air than other Marvel characters, so the revelation that the game would embrace a more mature tone should be great news for those concerned that the game might not fully reflect the character’s identity.

Wolverine was last seen in the game version of the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie in 2009. Insomniac Games aims to make this title a standalone game, not tying in with any pre-existing version of Wolverine. As of now, the game is in its early stages of development.

Marvel’s Spiderman 2 will be a massive game

Speaking about the game after the PlayStation Showcase, Tony Todd, who is voicing Venom, revealed on Twitter that the game would be massive. The game is under development and has huge expectations to cater to.

A fan asked Todd about the casting and how long he knew about it, to which he replied, “2 months or so. The game is massive. That’s why it won’t come out till. 2023”.
