But now that the Wave 2 is coming next week, on August 4, here are the eight tracks that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fans should be excited about:
- Turnip Cup: Players can zip past skyscrapers while having a scenic drive through the park in the course inspired by the Big-Apple.
- SNES Mario Circuit 3: Nintendo Switch users will love to drift around tight corners in this course. However, they will need to avoid the Warp Pipes.
- N64 Kalimari Desert: It features quick run-ins with a very old steam locomotive that crosses the course. Players need to make sure not to cause any delays whatsoever.
- DS Waluigi Pinball: This course is themed on the giant pinball table, having colorful lights and sounds.
- Propeller Cup Tour Sydney Sprint: This course initially made its way in the Mario Kart Tour and is now available in the newer Nintendo Switch version as well.
- GBA Snow Land: Players need to make sure they don’t slip or slide away on this wintry course from Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
- Wii Mushroom Gorge: It features an underground cavern alongside the deep chasms and big mushrooms. Landing safely will be the key to victory in this course.
- Sky-High Sundae: This course consists of larger-than life deserts at possibly every turn so that players can take a break.
Meanwhile, Nintendo fans wasted no time in dropping their reactions as soon as the Wave 2 announcement spread across social media. Most of them expressed extreme happiness after knowing that the Japanese giant has finally listened to their requests. Many players are quite excited about the Waluigi Pinball course, as it’s making a big comeback.
