YouTube Veteran Jacksepticeye is known for opening the platform for some of the best Indie horror games out there. In his long career, jack has made countless videos of his plethoras of indie games and shared his honest opinions and reviews that devs should look upon to improve their games.

Recently Jack uploaded a let’s play video where he played the indie game called Midnight Scenes: From the Woods. This game is a direct sequel to the Midnight scene, which was also played by Jack for a video. This pixelated horror gaming series offers an uncanny story mixed with eerie music and terribly horrifying visuals. 

Jacksepticeye plays an Indie horror gem

In his one-and-a-half-hour-long video, Jack completed the game and shared the second half of the horrific story that began with the first game. Jack uploaded the first Midnight scenes almost 7 months ago, so it wasn’t surprising that the veteran had it difficult to connect the dots initially in the story.

But soon jack understood that the kids in this game are the same as the previous one. From the wood continues where the first game ended. The improvements in the visuals and overall production were very apparent. However, in terms of the story, Jack thought this one was a little weak compared to the previous one.

The first game revolved around an innocent pair of brothers and sisters who were under the supervision of a hired babysitter, as their parents had left for the night. However, things didn’t end well for any of them. A mysterious entity from the nearby woods murdered the babysitter and stole (kidnapped) the children.

Ever since the Brother and the Sister lived in the woods and the haunting spirit who they call the ‘mother’. But thanks to some mysterious circumstances, the boy returned FROM THE WOODS and reunited with his parents. Though something was not right with the kid, so much so that the parents had to leave him in a mental home for diagnosis. But that was just the beginning of all things worst…

Jack thoroughly enjoyed the game and praised the developers for their amazing job. He also commented on gender equality and freedom of sexual identity after witnessing a bigoted antagonist who harassed one of the gay protagonists. Jack said, “That’s Horrible and Awful no one should go through this”, Jack added. “I think everyone should be afforded happiness and everyone should be on the same footing as another.”
