Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast has the same superpower as Batman… Money! However, instead of donning a dark cape and cowl and breaking every bone in a criminal’s body, Jimmy uses his power in other much more fun and entertaining ways. Like making the years-old meme challenge of bottle flipping fun even in 2023.

In a recent short video on his second channel called, MrBeast 2, Jimmy challenged a bunch of fans in a bottle flip tournament. The rules were simple: the contestants have to successfully land a ‘bottle flip’ and with each win, the prize will get bigger and bigger. So much so that in the end the prize was $6,400 for a single bottle flip.

According to knowyourmeme.com Bottle Flipping originated back on December 20th, 2008. “YouTuber markg143 uploaded a video in which a teenager attempts to break the world record for the most consecutive water bottle flips,” this video helped the challenge spread across the internet, which eventually gave it the push it needed to become the timeless classic online challenge of today.

The ‘bottle flipping’ trend was one of the first viral challenges in the history of the internet. Back in 2016, the trend was at its peak as influencers, as well as normal people, were seen uploading their videos, performing ‘bottle flips’. The renowned challenge YouTubers “Dude Perfect” took this challenge to new heights with their crazy perfectly time bottle flip challenge video.

Now, the trend has died down a lot. Though bottle flips are still considered cool, the craze is not there anymore. But the King of YouTube MrBeast took the responsibility on his own shoulders to revive the dead meme with his new video on his second. Here he challenged his fans in a Bottle Flip tournament.

The prize pool started with just $200, but with each attempt, Jimmy kept on doubling it until it reached the huge amount of $6,400 for a single flip. Many fans failed, and many succeeded. This may be the only time being good in a meme challenge helped someone economically.

In the current ecosystem of YouTube, no other name is as huge and influential as MrBeast. Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is the biggest independent content creator the platform has ever seen. With 127 Million subscribers, billions of channel views, and many highly successful retail businesses, Jimmy is undoubtedly one of the most successful influencers in the world.
