Through the tactical-based gameplay coupled with raw aim mechanisms, it is a perfect platter for competitive enthusiasts. The game’s ability to satisfy this has molded an entire robust eSports front for the community.

Now as we are cruising to the last major of the year, the CS: GO community yet again has proved its prowess.

Now yet again, the game proved its prowess and broke its own record. According to reports, CS: GO had 1.8 million concurrent players. Interestingly, this is right before the last Major of the year.

May 7 marks the beginning of Blast Paris Major 2023, which is the last major event of CS: GO, and the next one is only scheduled for the next year (PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024). Amidst the preparations for the competition, the community expressed their excitement through the game itself.

With the hype and activity CS: GO is witnessing in recent days, we can say that Valve’s decision to reboot the game through Counter Strike 2 is working.
