Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ clean green islands are just perfect for taking a stroll. And the best part is that people can actually make those islands their own. Decorate them according to their taste, thanks to the number of options available to players to do the same.

Thanks to all those customization options, and the social features of Animal Crossing: New horizons, it has been pretty common for people to hold various gatherings, and showcases in this game too. So, it did not come as a surprise at all when Intel and Dell Technologies opened their own custom island in Animal Crossing to the public, where everyone can come and just recycle their garbage in exchange for various treasures.

A precious Animal Crossing item for Rusted Garbage

Usually, when fishing or digging for buried treasures around the island, players often find rusted parts. Those rusted parts can be turned in at Intel and Dell Technologies’ eCycleLand island for a valuable item. This island was launched by intel on November 15, to celebrate the occasion of National Recycling Day.

Along with turning their garbage for valuables, players would also get access to a QR code on this island that would lead them to an unlisted YouTube video. This video’s sole purpose is to guide players through the island and educate them about the importance of recycling.

Intel and Dell Technologies have taken a great initiative

This great initiative that Intel and Dell Technologies have taken to spread awareness amongst people is really commendable. And this just goes to show the popularity of Animal Crossing and its dynamic nature. Players and creators with enough creativity can create anything out of this game.

This is not the first time such a gathering or an event of such a unique nature has taken place in this game. People have created Nightmare islands, organized graduation parties, and even games of Deal or No Deal.
