Xbox Exclusive Halo: Infinite Launching Just in Time for Christmas

It is all coming together for a Merry Christmas as Halo: Infinite release date leaks on Twitter. 343’s FPS game, originally planned for a release alongside Microsoft’s next-gen consoles, will now make its way to the stores right before Christmas on December 8th, 2021.
The date appeared on a Microsoft store website with a new description and new stills. Although there is no official confirmation yet, Halo fans might be keen on watching tonight’s Opening Night Live.

The Journey of Halo: Infinite
While the development of the title faced multiple concerns which to delays in the release date, the game had a fairly successful first beta. The testing went live from July 29, lasting till August 2.

A Boatload of Indie Games Are Arriving to Xbox Games Pass on Day One
The technical preview gave the players the first look into the game. Fighting against bots in the Bot arena and trying out the new loadout offered in-game in the Academy Weapon Drills. At one point, there was also news that suggested the game would feature toxic bags that would tea-bag players upon defeat. Unfortunately, the rumor was soon shot down by the devs.

All you need to know ahead of Halo’s launch
In the development update of August, 343 Industries revealed that the game will not be launching with some of its key features. Co-op and Forge mode; the two hallmarks of the franchise, will be introduced post-launch, with the former being a part of Season 2 and the latter coming out the Season 3.
Moreover, the devs recently announced the next technical preview for the game. Even though there is no official date yet, Sam Hanshaw, producer at 343, revealed the new beta will have interesting new modes. Additionally, there will also be an increase in the number of participants in the event.
