WATCH: Sha’Carri Richardson Shows Up Alongside Lewis Hamilton at Met Gala

The Met Gala is one of the most star-studded events in the calendar. The event contributes to the Metropolitan Museum of Art from the funds received from the event. Moreover, it is a platform for the guests to showcase their fashion attire as the event is iconic for its extravagant clothing. Simone Biles which stole the show with her incredible gown. Likewise, Lewis Hamilton, the F1 legend and Sha’Carri Richardson, the promising young sprinter made their way together for the event.

Sha’Carri Richardson appears with Lewis Hamilton

The event saw the famous sprinter, Sha’Carri Richardson, make her debut in the event with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton. Richardson wore a beautiful red and black outfit as she lit up the event. Hamilton, on the other hand, wore a custom suit designed by Kenneth Nicholson which had a lace calf-length shirt.

The duo looked good together, as both of them entered the gala. Richardson has been at the center of negative coverage in the media recently. The sprinter has failed to live up to expectations, and her own words, in recent races. Hamilton, in the meantime, spoke in excitement about the event.

Hamilton loves the Met Gala event

Lewis bought a table of $30,000 for the emerging designers that contributed to the event’s success. Moreover, he spoke about how F1 influenced him to buy the table.

“I realized it’s very similar within the fashion industry. A lot of brands, young designers don’t have the same opportunities, and the Met is the biggest fashion event of the year,” said Hamilton.

This was not Lewis’ first appearance in the event as he appeared for the sixth time in the Gala event. The F1 racer had a weekend to forget at the Italian Grand Prix where he crashed with Max Verstappen. But, Lewis looked happy at the event and unfazed by the events in the Grand Prix.
