2021 Mercedes F1 Car Launch: Where to Watch and What Time is It?

Mercedes will headline the string of car launches scheduled for the month of March with their all-new W12 car. The defending champions have built up some hype in recent time by teasing brief clips and hints about their latest machinery.
Per available information, Mercedes will have a digital launch that viewers from around the world can witness. The unveiling will take place on Tuesday, March 2, at 11 AM GMT, while fans in the United States and India can watch from 6 AM EST and 4:30 PM IST respectively.
The car launch will simultaneously occur across multiple social media channels- Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Further, the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, and team boss Toto Wolff will talk about the 2021 F1 season, ahead of the unveiling.

Is there anything new with the Mercedes W12 car?
The machinery will officially be called the ‘Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance’. The technology label ‘E Performance’ will henceforth see itself crafted on all of their Formula 1 and Mercedes-AMG hybrid cars.

But much like any other team, F1 regulations require Mercedes to carry over significant amount of parts into building their 2021 car. Chassis stability is something that is unusual for outfits, considering the work they put in over every winter period to gain performance enhancement.
At the same time, Mercedes’ technical chief James Allison mentioned that despite the rules, it has been ‘every bit as difficult’ to create their new car. Therefore, it is possible that the team are waiting for Bahrain testing to perform a concrete analysis on their 2021 challenger.
Hamilton and Bottas continue as the team’s pairing for the fifth successive season

Mercedes’ supporters received some great news when Hamilton put pen to paper on a one-year deal last month. He will now partner Bottas and help continue the team on their merry winning streak of seven consecutive Constructors’ titles.
Undoubtedly, Hamilton will also come into the season seeking an unprecedented 8th F1 title. After all, no driver has won eight championships thus far, and the 35-year-old could well be the first one to do so.

Hence, it all starts for Mercedes when they officially reveal their brand-new machinery for the 2021 F1 season. Their fans will hope that the car is every bit as fast as last year, and they continue to achieve more success in the coming months.
