Heavy is the head that wears the Crown! This saying resonates with several champions who receive a lot of hate because of being the dominant force in their respective sports. It’s the case with every sport, where if the person dominates for a long time, some fans automatically find reasons to hate them. As has been the case with Novak Djokovic in the tennis world. Despite his historic feat at the 2023 French Open, some fans are unleashing unnecessary hate toward the Serbian. That too has got triggered by an F1 young icon congratulating the Tennis legend on his record feat.

Esteban Ocon has been having a blast ever since he scored the podium in Monaco. The podium came just at the right time as it established Alpine’s intentions for the season and sent a message across the grid not to take them lightly. However, Esteban Ocon also received some backlash on the way he celebrated after getting out of the car when he shouted “Estie Bestie on the Podium Baby”.

Since that cringe moment, Ocon has actually received a lot of love, especially for his post, where he put his P3 Monaco trophy in the car seat on his way to Barcelona and treated it like a passenger princess. The Frenchman is now back again as he took to Twitter once again. This time around the Frenchman posted a photo with Novak Djokovic. The caption to the post is “What an incredible achievement 🏆Congratulations @DjokerNole on your 23rd Grand Slam #RolandGarros.”

Esteban Ocon posted this photo to congratulate Novak Djokovic on his record-breaking grand slam win against Casper Ruud at the French Open. Before this win, Djokovic was tied with Rafael Nadal on 22 grand slam wins. With this triumph at the 2023 Roland Garros, the Serbian finally surpassed Nadal to become the record holder. In the picture posted by Ocon, the Alpine driver is seen dressed smartly in beige and white while Djokovic can be seen wearing a Lacoste jacket with 23 written on it signifying the 23rd record win.

Despite the record occasion, the fans trolled both the Frenchman and Serbian online. Djokovic is one of the most popular tennis stars, and sometimes it is not for the right reasons. Take examples of when he blames his staff and how he missed tournaments because he refused to take the COVID vaccine. Fans took to social media to unleash unnecessary hate as they asked Esteban Ocon to stay away from Djokovic.
