Winning the world championship on seven occasions is difficult, ask Lewis Hamilton. He is one of the greatest drivers ever to grace the sport. Even if you’re not a supporter, you have to acknowledge Lewis and his abilities behind a single-seater. However, a handful of people might still call him a B-grade driver.
And that’s precisely what we got to hear on a podcast, entitled ‘The Lockout Podcast’. The podcast covers recent Formula 1 news. And during this week’s podcast, the hosts talked about Lewis partying with Selena Gomez, Post Malone, and Cara Delevingne. And one of them even went on to call Lewis a B-grade driver.

During the podcast introduction, the speaker called the celebrities and Lewis ‘B-grade’. He specifically said, “Yeah sounds about right, B-grade driver, B-grade celebrities.” Although we are all entitled to our own opinions, you do not have to be a fan of the 7-time world champion to see how calling him a ‘B-grade driver’ was, at the very least, not accurate.

Lewis holds the record for most wins (103), pole positions (103), and podium finishes (183) among others. Moreover, he has won a race in each of the Formula 1 seasons since his debut back in 2007. A win in 2022 will stretch this streak to 16 years in a row.
