Carlos Sainz expects that the Formula 1 drivers will have issues with their necks when the season at last begins. The title will begin a lot later than typical because of the progressing corona emergency.

With the exception of the winter tests, the drivers have not been in F1 vehicles since December 2019. It was when the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held. The principal race is said to be hung on July 5 at the Red Bull Ring. It implies that the drivers have not driven for five months since the winter tests.

The initial nine races of the season have just been dropped/deferred. The French and Belgian Grand Prix are likewise in question because of limitations forced by those nations.

In any case, he recognizes the choice to forsake the season is “fully understandable” if the COVID-19 circumstance keeps on causing a significant disturbance.

“It affects you a lot, especially the neck,” – Carlos Sainz
