With his looks, Carlos Sainz can very well be mistaken for a Hollywood superstar. However, in reality, he is a talented Formula one driver and has no connections to the movie industry, that we know of. So what ultimately accounts for his appealing appearance? While many of us could blame his Spanish genes, it is his exercise regimen that has made F1 fans go into a spiral.

In order to compete at the highest level of motorsports, you must be physically fit in addition to having the best talent. Although it may seem simple and easy to drive an F1 car, going around those corners at lightning-fast speed is anything but simple in reality. Drivers endure devastating g-forces every lap while racing at speeds of over 200 mph.

Drivers, however, undergo extensive training in order to prepare for such a physical challenge so that they can bring laurels to their teams. People are often surprised to see the extreme fitness regime of the drivers and the latest driver who has got the attention of the F1 community is Sainz. In a recent video shared by Scuderia’s official Instagram account, the 28-year-old is shown performing lateral raises. But instead of lifting heavy weights, he used specialized F1 equipment.

F1 fans are fascinated with Carlos Sainz’s latest fitness video

In the video, Sainz can be seen performing lateral lifts to strengthen his shoulders. Fans enjoyed the video, and some of them even flooded the Instagram comment section with amusing retorts.

Fans can’t stop talking over the way Leclerc took away the Helmet from Sainz.

“How heavy is one?”

Carlos Sainz is one of those athletes who, in their pursuit of excellence at the pinnacle of motorsport, go all in when it comes to fitness. His training regimen is particularly demanding because it involves a strenuous strength training program. He once revealed how his work ethic keeps him slender.

Revealing to Formula 1.com, he said, “A lot of it [strength training] can be done with limited equipment, even bodyweight, but resistance bands are really versatile. “On tougher training days, I need to eat more and can eat simpler forms of carbohydrate to make sure I am fuelled for those sessions. But on rest days or easier days, I will eat much less as I do not need as much energy. This makes sure I keep lean during this period!”
