Considering that Windsor’s insights emphasize the Austin track’s demanding nature, it’s evident that the challenges extend beyond the battle with teammate Carlos Sainz, for Charles Leclerc at the United States GP. However, the question still remains. Can Ferrari realistically catch Mercedes?

So far, Carlos Sainz has been the more consistent Tifosi driver. But despite that, it has not been enough for Ferrari to catch Mercedes, who are #2 in the constructors’ championship. As the Silver Arrows prepare upgrades, Ferrari may need to focus on defending rather than chasing Mercedes. McLaren’s speedy MCL 60, led by Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, threatens their third position. Leclerc certainly has to deliver, in the last five races of the season.
