Richard Mille sponsors many high-profile athletes around the world. They have also taken a keen interest in the world of Formula One by sponsoring the McLaren and Ferrari F1 teams. This has meant that F1 drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, and Daniel Ricciardo have been spotted wearing their exuberant watches on their wrists.

The brand also has a range of watches custom-made for Charles Leclerc. But the thieves stole his watch in Italy a month ago which left him heartbroken. Now, the Monegasque driver has been spotted wearing a different watch from Richard Mille.

Charles Leclerc dons a rare RM 035 on his wrists

The RM 035 is a custom-made and rare watch that was crafted in collaboration with Tennis GOAT Rafael Nadal. The 21-time Grand Slam Champion is also a proud ambassador of Richard Mille watches and wears them every time he heads to a tennis court.

Leclerc wore this watch at his home Grand Prix (Monaco). It is a fourth and final collaboration with Nadal of the RM 035 collection.

The market value of the watch is a whopping $1 million and the real price touches the $220k mark. So this timepiece is not cheap by any standards and is only for the collectors who have the money.

Leclerc provided an update on the police investigations of his stolen watch in Italy. He claimed it was not an easy process and there is no positive news as of yet.

The Ferrari driver has looked dejected ever since his watch was stolen in Italy. He mentioned it was not a very good experience for him and he does not like to speak too much about it.

“It hasn’t been a great experience, but I cannot say much more than that. Everything is going on with the police and they are trying to find them. It hasn’t been as smooth as what I’ve read. But overall I am fine and fully focused on the weekend. It won’t hurt me for this weekend,” said Leclerc.
