Over the course of his career, fans have witnessed Sir Lewis Hamilton exhibit his fearlessness in many ways. The 7-time world champion is an adrenaline junkie and loves to do adventure activities in his time off. He has done snowboarding, skiing, and skydiving quite a few times to prepare for races ahead of the season.

One of his favorite adventure activities is jumping out of a plane from quite a height. Hamilton loves to sky dive whenever he gets the chance during the season. He recently went to Dubai to do skydiving before the race weekend and can be seen enjoying himself while flying amongst the clouds.

F1 fans on Twitter had their minds blown by the ease with which Lewis was doing his dives.

 

Lewis Hamilton reveals his love for skydiving in his time off

The Mercedes driver had previously mentioned that he has been trying to get better at skydiving. During his recent visit, he did multiple dives and did not need the assistance of an instructor.

In 2021, he had mentioned that after completing one of his dives; he went straight back to the team and did some wind tunnel work.

 “I’ve been learning to skydive over the past couple of years. It’s one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. This me trying for the first time flying on my back, of which I was useless at lol. After this, I went to spend time in the wind tunnel to practice. I’ll post that next to show you my progression,” said Hamilton.

This weekend he went skydiving multiple times because he wanted to clear his head before the Australian Grand Prix. Hamilton had a terrible Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, as he failed to get out of Q3 for the first time since Brazil 2017.

He only managed to get a solitary point for his efforts in the race after he finished P10. But Lewis would be hoping that his luck turns as he visits Melbourne this weekend.

The Mercedes driver has always fared well at the Albert Park track, where he has 8 pole positions and 2 wins to his name. Let’s see if he can perform better in Australia next week compared to the first 2 rounds of the 2022 calendar.
