When it comes to Max Verstappen, people often consider him as the two-time world champion, the man who defeated Lewis Hamilton at Abu Dhabi in 2021, or the youngest-ever F1 driver to win a Grand Prix at just 18 years and seven months. The man who raked in 15 wins out of the 22 races in 2022 or 25 wins in the last two seasons, is close to having a perfectionist tag by the side of his name. He got into karting when he was a kid, broke record after record, bunked school for racing, and now has a racing simulator on his jet. Isn’t he the most dedicated and perfectionist driver on the grid? Max Verstappen reveals.

When asked if perfectionism sometimes gets in his way, the two-time world champion said to Masters Expo, “No, I do not think so. If something doesn’t work out, then sometimes I’m disappointed, but it’s not like I keep worrying or displaying strange behavior.”

However, the 25-year-old then shared how he manages to deal with things when it doesn’t go his way, “In the end, I’m pretty cool about it. In retrospect I never really have the feeling of: hey Max, you should have taken it a little more slowly. It is what it is. Snapshots that can sometimes also be functional.”

Verstappen recently installed a racing simulator in his $15 million jet, Falcon 900EX, the Dutch driver showed the world his fanaticism for the sport. From racing in the real world to have it at his home, the youngest-ever F1 debutant now has one on his jet!

Max Verstappen wants to do the simulation himself at Red Bull

Unlike other teams and drivers, Max Verstappen opted out to let test drivers have the simulation in a recently published interview. The Dutchman, who knows how he can win more titles with Red Bull, shared that he doesn’t want to rely on test drivers for this and wants to take things into his own hand.
