McLaren duo Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo are one of the most celebrated F1 driver pairings in history. With the season having ended with the last race in Abu Dhabi, the two cease to be teammates going forward, as Daniel Ricciardo is officially going to be off of the grid next season.

Having watched this duo grow from constant competition to becoming such encouraging, supportive close friends in the course of being teammates for McLaren, has got the F1 fans around the globe all choked up.

Bidding Daniel a farewell hasn’t been an easy thing to do for most F1 fans. Their journey in the F1 world has been an engaging one. When Ricciardo and Lando first became teammates, the two were pitted against each other and were portrayed in a light of being personal rivals.

However, as time passed by, it has only become clear how much care and love the two share with one another.

As the race at Abu Dhabi came to an end this past weekend, Lando took to his radio to thank the Honey Badger for everything he has been to the young driver. Later on, he also posted on his Twitter, “It’s been a pleasure my friend. Thanks for everything. Thanks for the good times. Thanks for the laughs. You’re a legend.”

With the aforementioned caption, the Brit shared photos and videos of some of his most wonderful memories with the Honey Badger, where the two are seen enjoying happier times and sharing a laugh.
