British driver Lando Norris is quite pumped for the upcoming Formula One season. In a video posted by McLaren, the young driver informed fans just how motivated the team is for this season, and how they’re working hard to fully prepare to give their best on track.

Norris will be looking to build on two very encouraging seasons in F1. He has finished 11th and 9th in his first two seasons, respectively.

He finished outside the points in just four of the 17 races which took place last season. The 21-year-old got his first podium in the season opener in Austria, and then finished third in the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix.

McLaren will be shifting to Mercedes power units from the 2021 season onwards. They had been using Renault engines for three seasons, a contract which ended last season.

During their stint with Renault, they recovered some of their lost glory that had been destroyed in the previous seasons.

They finished sixth in 2018 with 62 points, fourth in 2019 with 145 points, and finally third in 2020 with their highest points haul in the hybrid era, 202 points.
