Midway through 2023, rumors of Lewis Hamilton signing for Mercedes appeared. The 7X champ, however, extended his contract with Mercedes on a 1+1 year basis. Everyone thought the Briton would end his career at Mercedes but come February 2024, everyone received the shock news of Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari for the 2025 season. And now Charles Leclerc won’t only have to compete with Hamilton on track but off track as well.

Both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have respectively had some sort of music career going alongside their F1 career. Lewis Hamilton featured on Christina Aguilera’s song called Pipe under his musical name XNDA. Charles Leclerc, on the other hand, began his musical career on a piano and has uploaded tracks of him playing the instrument on Spotify.

With the pre-season testing in full flow, Charles Leclerc was asked to have Hamilton as his teammate from next year onward. This was even a major topic of discussion between Will Buxton, Lawrence Baretto, and others in the commentary box during the testing. However, nobody thought about the musical collab possible between the future teammates until Will Buxton asked the question to the Monegasque himself.

Charles Leclerc, talking about the possibility of the same, said, “If it’s what everybody wants to know, then I’m not sure to be honest. I don’t know, I haven’t spoken about music too much with Lewis yet. We discussed about it last year and he was telling me that he loves music and I don’t know. I’ll speak with him from next year onwards about a potential collaboration.”

We’re hopeful that Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will come out with an album. The title of the Album? The Ferrari Boys? Red Hot Drivers? Who knows? What we do know is that Hamilton dipped his hand in the filmmaking industry and his movie on F1 is set to be released in the upcoming years. But what’s the update on it?

Lewis Hamilton’s F1-themed movie featuring Brad Pitt: What’s the status and when is it getting released?

The F1-themed movie being produced by Lewis Hamilton started filming last year. The APX GP car that’ll be featured in the movie was spotted on the track last year, running in between sessions. Brad Pitt was spotted in the paddock multiple times and once, even during the driver parade. Unfortunately, the shooting came to a halt midway through the season.

This was due to the SAG AFTRA Strike that happened in the U.S. The actors went on strike over the labor dispute. Brad Pitt himself supported the motion and was seen taking part in the strike. Although the F1 Movie staff did film for a couple of days during the strike, the production was eventually put on hold for the strike. The release date of the movie isn’t out yet but reports suggest that the strike pushed the date back to 2025.
