It’s still a bit difficult to come to terms with the news of Lewis Hamilton leaving Mercedes at the end of 2024. After all, he won 6 out of his 7 titles with the Brackley-based squad as they dominated the sport for almost a decade. And many including team boss Toto Wolff believed that Lewis would end his F1 career driving a silver arrow. However, it looks like Lewis will end his career racing in Red overalls for Ferrari alongside Charles Leclerc. Speaking of Leclerc, he has always spoken highly of Hamilton in light of his achievements in the sports. However, the Monegasque doesn’t see eye to eye with the Brit when it comes to assessing their competition on the grid.

While there’s no doubt that Charles Leclerc is a generational talent who has been touted to become a multiple world champion in the future, there’s also no denying that Lewis Hamilton has a discerning eye, giving him the ability to read his opponents and make subtle adjustments on the fly. And Leclerc’s recent statement is proof of that very fact.

Maybe for him, it’s true, but I have to say I can’t notice these details. We are talking about millimetric differences in ride height or suspension travel.”
