Charles Leclerc is well known for two things; his exceptional skills on a Formula 1 racetrack and his love for the Scarlet Red Ferrari cars. He has been dreaming about becoming an F1 driver for Ferrari since he was a little boy. However, this time he has combined his newfound passion for music to co-compose a piano track for his contract announcement clip with the French Piano King.

Leclerc took his love of composing music as a hobby to a more professional level. But have you ever wondered what’s the secret behind his compositions?

Leclerc explains how his songs are born

Leclerc’s debut song gained instant popularity, soaring into the top ten newly released music on iTunes. Ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix in 2023, Leclerc shared insights into the creative process he uses for his musical pursuits while having a conversation with Monaco-matin.

During the interview, Leclerc was asked if he had more songs in the pipeline. He responded by saying, “I play as soon as I get home in Monte Carlo. Three days ago I got on the piano and I came out with something I liked. My songs are always born like this. I know how to read music, but I am really slow, so I never do it.” He further explained that he immerses himself in the notes for two to three hours before deciding if the music is worthy of release.
