Ferrari’s Sainz Doesn’t Fear Mercedes: “I Don’t See Lewis Hamilton Inside the Car”

Britain’s Lewis Hamilton has been dominating the track ever since he joined Mercedes from Mclaren. The number 44 has won seven world titles and seems to be unstoppable.
Carlos Sainz stated that the entire Formula One has great respect for the Brit who has equaled Michael Schumacher’s title count, However, even though Sainz respects Hamilton himself, but has stated that he wants to beat him once he is in the car.
Hence the Spaniard thinks the Scuderia is his best shot at winning the title. He will make sure that he puts up a fight against the number 44 once they take to the track in the new year.

The Spaniard respects The Knight of Britain, Lewis Hamilton
Carlos Sainz said, “I don’t see Lewis Hamilton inside the car. The respect I have for Lewis is huge and all drivers have a lot of respect for the guy who has seven world titles it’s incredible but you never think about who is inside the car, you always try to beat him.”
On the other hand, his teammate, Charles Leclerc said, “I have huge respect for everyone on the grid and Lewis has achieved so much in the sport, but when I put the helmet on I try to fight him as much as I do with anybody else on the grid.”

The two talented drivers will go head-to-head once the lights go out in Bahrain. The number 55 will put his game face on once he is behind the wheel of the Ferrari. The Spaniard will not have a hint of fear when he sees Lewis in his mirrors. Carlos will fight a strong battle against Hamilton and making sure that he can do everything he can from stopping the Knight on getting this hand on the eighth world title.

Ferrari suffered horribly during the 2020 season, the team finished 6th with 131 points. Mercedes finished first as they took home 573 points, 13 wins, and winning their seventh consecutive constructor’s title.
Both teams are yet to launch their 2021 contender, Ferrari will launch their new car for the upcoming season on the 10th of March, whereas their rivals, the Silver Arrows will unveil their creation on the 2nd of March. The teams will fly out to Bahrain for pre-season testing and the first race of the year.
Furthermore, both teams have talented driver lineups with Leclerc and Sainz piloting the SF21 and Bottas and Hamilton driving the W12. The team will push the limits across the season to show who’s the most dominant on the F1 grid., though it would be a mammoth task for the Scuderia.
