Charles Leclerc has been Ferrari’s golden boy ever since his debut for the team back in 2019. Despite being a newcomer in F1, he beat his teammate and 4-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel, two years in a row. Even though the two drivers are extremely competitive, they share an excellent working relationship. Speaking about the season so far, as F1 enters its summer break, Leclerc listed the biggest advantages of having Sainz as a teammate.

He was further posed with the question as to what exactly gives him the confidence. To which the Monegasque replied, “The way we work. If we work as well as we did in the last 2 years on other weaknesses, I am confident that we’ll overcome them.”
The Ferrari duo was initially leading the title battle. However, after a few poor strategies and reliability issues, they have been left behind by Red Bull. In the meantime, 2 Ferrari drivers have worked well together attempting to catch up to Verstappen and Perez.
