If you are a part of the Max Verstappen orange army, the F1 Dutch GP was an absolute delight for you. The World Champion finished a brilliantly executed weekend with a win from pole at Zandvoort. As a standard mode of celebration, the Verstappen’s massive fandom present at Zandvoort covered the track with an orange cloud.

To common knowledge, the fans summon the orange cloud with the help of flares; the same flares that were not allowed in the Dutch GP but obviously made their way to the circuit. However, they became a nuisance when a couple of them also found their way on the track.

During the qualifying session of the Dutch GP, a flare found its way into the middle of the track. The short-lived flare caused a lot of disruption and had to be removed before Q3 could begin. However, this wasn’t an isolated incident as another fan threw a flare on the track; luckily, it made its way away from the track and into the pit lane.

The orange army has been gathering a lot of criticism because of multiple unwelcomed incidents on multiple 0ccasions. As always, the actions of a few reflect on the entire community, and the members of the orange army assumed the blame for the incidents.

A video circulating on Facebook is exposing the culprit behind the second flare throw. To everyone’s surprise, the second flare-thrower was not part of the orange army. In fact, the flare-thrower wasn’t even a spectator. The culprit was in the track security uniform with an earpiece dangling from his collar.

Could it have been a person hired to ensure such incidents do not occur during the weekend? The F1 world of Twitter seems to think so!
