The times are grim for Mercedes. Once a giant force, nobody dared to go against them for almost a decade. They were ruthless. However, while Red Bull seemed to hit the ground running, the Silver Arrows of Mercedes stumbled out of the gate. Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes have admitted they need to find their way as the future looks uncertain for them.

But one man is watching closely: Helmut Marko, the chief advisor to Red Bull. Despite their rival’s struggles, Marko isn’t taking anything for granted and isn’t holding back any shots. With the tables now having been turned on their heads, Red Bull fans have denied sympathizing with the plight of its rivals, as many fans keep asking them to do. Helmut Marko has also ruled Mercedes out of the title run and, in an absolute annihilation, held them accountable for their own state.

Drawing the parallels between the Mercedes situation now and the Red Bull situation back then, he said, “The difference is that Renault gave us a 50 hp weaker engine. Mercedes produced its own lack of chances (in 2022 and 2023).” Later on, the Honda engine changed the team’s fortunes, and they continue to partner with it even now, during their resurgence and dominant period. Mercedes can blame no one but themselves for their power or other issues. With Red Bull seemingly in the driver’s seat, Mercedes struggles with their W14 and are left squandering.

Red Bull fans hit back against Mercedes

Thus, the Red Bull fans believe they are just paying back Mercedes what they were served in the past years. So, no one should expect any mercy, either from them or their team.
