Consequently, a huge British crowd swarmed around the empty tiers to cherish the German playing a role in pursuing a clean environment.

Why Vettel chose to join the garbage collection drive

Speaking to Bild, Vettel opened up about why he chose to clean up the rubbish on the stands after the race at Silverstone.

“It is important that we all respect the environment and not rely on other people to clean up behind us. Together we can make a difference,” the Aston Martin driver said.

Tough break for Sebastian Vettel at Silverstone
