The drivers have arrived in the land of Latin America! The Mercedes men, Lewis Hamilton, and George Russell are seen talking all things Brazil in a recent pre-race preview video posted by PETRONAS Motorsports.
The newly honored citizen of Brazil, Lewis Hamilton, and fellow Mercedes teammate, Russell, are seen sharing things they love about the country. They also share their views on the Brazilian track ahead of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix that is all set to take place this weekend.

The seven-time world champ, Hamilton, stated all his favorite Brazilian things. At the top of his list was the Brazilian football team. Followed by the “great combination of ‘corners’,” referring to the racetrack.
The fashion icon also pointed out how it is a colorful country and how it is one of the things he likes about it!
More on the country, Hamilton shared, “It’s a very unique place. The people and the passion in Brazil is unlike anywhere. And I think that’s what you get to see when you’re in the city. A lot of colors, beautiful culture and the fans are awesome.”
“You’ve got that really long straight and it’s a track where you lose a little bit of power [because of altitude].”
Hamilton is extremely excited about the race in Brazil, now that this race will be his first in the country after having embraced it as his own officially.

As the drivers gear up for the 2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix, Mercedes spearhead, Lewis Hamilton, embraced a new culture and made it his own.
Hamilton had always proclaimed his love for the colorful land of Brazil. As the countdown to the weekend race began, The Briton received this honor before the race to make it a special one.

Lewis Hamilton has had a win-less season this year. It could be Mercedes’ biggest fear to have nothing to show for as the year comes to an end. However, the Brazilian Grand Prix holds a special place in Hamilton’s heart. And if he were to turn things around and bag that win in his hometown, this win would be one for the books.
