Ferrari’s new car isn’t their usual super sports car but a tactful merge of speed and comfort. You’d call it their first ever SUV, but Ferrari refuses to call it that.

They’re describing it as “A versatile car that melds unparalleled comfort with Ferrari’s signature performance and driving pleasure.”

And since it’s their first of a kind, they are calling it ‘Purosangue’, which is Italian for ‘thoroughbred’.

As the first look rolls out, every car fanatic is going to want to get their hands on this stunner. Ferrari‘s Carlos Sainz was no different!

He was quick to post an Instagram story quoting, “I need this.” And to be honest, a lot of us are taken aback as we never thought this day would ever come!

Ferrari was dead set against making a car like this, but they’re always full of surprises, aren’t they?

So what exactly is Ferrari’s Purosangue all about? What can we expect of it?

A Four-Door Ferrari?

You read that right! Ferrari’s first ever four-door, four-seater with a power-pact engine is about to hit the market soon. The ‘welcome doors’ keep the design compact and precise. The model has a whooping 715 horsepower which is designed to achieve 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds. Ferrari further claims 124 mph in 10.6 seconds which swells into a remarkable 193mph.

Coming to the engine, it’s a 6.2-liter V12 that produces a 528 pound-feet of torque.

This ‘SUV’ is without a doubt the new head turner in the market. Ferrari has said to have set the standard carbon fiber roof, which makes it a lot lighter, while also lowering its center of gravity. This results in the car’s evolved driving dynamics. The doors at the back are rear-hinged, making it a comfortable walk-in while adding to its appeal.

Coming to aerodynamics, the ‘aerobridge’ on the bonnet resembles that of the ‘F12 Berlinetta’. As you get in, there are four completely adjustable seats that are independent of each other.
