Remember when Rebekah Mikaelson said “I’m a Mikaelson. We make our own choices.” In a candid Instagram session, Vampire Diaries’ Rebekah Mikaelson aka Claire Holt left fans surprised with her fiery response when asked if she still watches Formula 1. Claire Holt didn’t hold back as she expressed her frustration with the seemingly unstoppable Max Verstappen in F1. And shared her choice to see Verstappen challenged by his Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez.

Max Verstappen’s dominance in the 2023 Formula 1 season has been unparalleled, with the Dutch driver leading an astounding 74% of laps in the first eight races. Out of those races, Verstappen has clinched six victories, while his teammate Sergio Perez claimed the remaining two wins. Red Bull Racing’s performance has mirrored the dominance previously exhibited by Mercedes, drawing attention to the lack of competition and unpredictability in the sport.

However, amidst Verstappen’s unparalleled success, Claire Holt’s opinion stands in stark contrast. Holt’s candid comments about Max Verstappen and her strong support for Perez reflect the sentiments of many Formula 1 enthusiasts who crave an exciting battle for the championship. Furthermore, her perception of Verstappen as a “grouchy baby” has further fueled her desire to see “Checo,” (Sergio Perez’s nickname) challenge Verstappen’s dominance on the track and kick his a*s.
