Fernando Alonso‘s “hero” Lance Stroll has always been associated with daddy money. While the man has never underperformed, as he has a pole position and three podiums to his name, a nepotism debate always gets ignited at the mention of his name. Junior Stroll, now in his seventh year of Formula 1, has begun on a high note with his Papa’s team bridging a 2.4-second gap in the wind tunnel. A sight of Lance being helped out of his car made the rounds two weeks ago, and now another resident of his car is making the rounds. After all, he has a permanent seat in his father’s team, and the most recent spotting of another splurge by his billionaire father, Lawrence Stroll, has made heads turn across the F1 world.
Stroll junior’s recovery after a bike crash and a brilliant showing in Bahrain have been making the rounds. Now in Jeddah, the Aston Martin duo are expected to be faster and better suited for the 6+ kilometer long high-speed track. The man backed by his billionaire father has now made headlines for a gold-plated seat of his Aston Martin.

The conditions an F1 driver goes through during the race are extremely intense and the teams take it upon themselves to make the ride a comfortable one for their main leads. According to the Aston Martin’s ‘The seven-step guide to the perfect F1 seat fit’, “Padding can be applied for comfort although weight is kept in mind, as adding padding increases the weight of the seat. A layer of gold foil can be cured onto the carbon fiber at the rear of the seat to reflect infrared rays and protect the driver from the heat coming from the powertrain behind.”
