Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger were in a long-term relationship during the Briton’s early years in Formula 1. The power couple, who turned a lot of heads during their time together, never ended up marrying each other or getting engaged. When rumors came just about on the same issue, Hamilton’s blunt reply was enough to dismiss everything.

As Hamilton and Scherzinger were together for over six years, rumors came out about their engagement. When asked to the current seven-time world champion if he is getting married to the Pussycat Dolls star, he simply declared, “No I’m not.”

However, as per Dominic Lemanski of Daily Star, which was reported by Bleacher Report in 2014, stated, “Lewis is doing his best to keep the news ­under wraps but he is ­absolutely delighted. He got down on one knee and Nicole finally accepted.”

“The plan is they are going to live together in Switzerland and travel together when Lewis is racing. It is the ideal plan for both of them and will hopefully lead to a big summer ­wedding in August when Lewis has a three-week break from his F1 ­schedule,” concluded the report.

Just after a year after the engagement rumor, Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger called off their relationship. The couple started dating in 2007 when the British driver made his F1 debut with McLaren.

Citing time management issues, Hamilton shared that the duo finally decided to go on their own ways. In an interview in 2019, Hamilton conveyed according to Express, “It may be slightly different in that we are traveling as much as we are, and you are just away for crazy amounts of time.”
