Max Verstappen Announces More Good News for His Fans Amid the Coronavirus Crisis

Max Verstappen is not a particularly big fan of the F1 2019 game, which is fairly ironic. However, he is not opposed to racing online in other series. This time, he will be a guest star in this week’s Supercars All Stars Eseries. In a nod to his Red Bull association, Verstappen will drive a Red Bull liveried Holden Commodore in the second round of the series.
The V8 Supercar Series invited Verstappen to race as a wildcard in four online battles at the Silverstone and Barcelona circuits. Needless to say, the Dutch star is itching to hop onto a simulator and just race. The Formula One driver knows that driving a V8 Supercar on a simulator is a completely different beast to what he is used to.
He said, “We always race with Supercars in Melbourne so it’s going to be interesting to see how I get on against all the regular drivers. I’ve tried the Supercar now a few times on iRacing and it’s a very tricky car to get right. I’m looking forward to racing alongside my mate Shane, or Pastor, as I call him – he’s a top shunter on the sim!”

Max Verstappen is increasing his online presence
Ever since the world went into lockdown, courtesy the coronavirus outbreak, many are turning to the online world. Max Verstappen is one of those people with a strong online presence. Along with the likes of Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris. Additionally, Verstappen also races in Team Redline’s Esports ‘Real Racers Never Quit’ events.
However, the Dutchman dismissed suggestions of taking part in Formula 1’s Virtual Grand Prix races. Apparently, he is not familiar with the F1 2019 official game platform.

As mentioned before, Max Verstappen is hugely excited to go for this new venture. He has never raced in a V8 Superca before. So it would be interesting to see where he ends up during those four races.
